Fulham are reportedly interested in signing Terry Yegbe, Elfsborg’s towering 6ft 5in centre-back, as per African media reports. The Ghanaian defender has caught the attention of Fulham scouts following an impressive season in Sweden’s Allsvenskan since joining from Seinäjoen Jalkapallokerho in January.
The 23-year-old played a pivotal role for Elfsborg, scoring three goals in 22 league appearances and shining in 12 Europa League matches. His standout performances have also earned him a call-up to Ghana’s senior squad for crucial AFCON qualifiers against Angola and Niger.
Yegbe’s strong form has sparked interest from several European clubs, including Freiburg, Union Berlin, Crystal Palace, and Sheffield United. Fulham will face stiff competition to secure his signature. According to Swedish reports, Elfsborg are open to selling the dominant defender for a fee of around £4 million in the January transfer window.
