Bernd Leno is optimistic about Fulham’s prospects for the rest of the season, citing the team’s strong mentality during their performance at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Despite playing with 10 men after Tom Cairney’s red card, Fulham outplayed Spurs for much of the match, and Leno feels that attitude bodes well for their future games.

Reflecting on the game, Leno said, “The way we played shows we are very ambitious. We were dominant against Spurs, and even with the red card, our mindset was clear. After the match, the feeling was that we had dropped two points, even though the draw is a good result. It shows the mentality and quality of the team, and I hope we can continue in this vein.”

Looking ahead, Fulham will play Brighton & Hove Albion at home, aiming to extend their unbeaten run to nine matches. Leno acknowledged the challenge Brighton presents, especially after their impressive win against Manchester City. “Brighton are a very strong team, well-organized under their German manager,” Leno said. “It will be a tough match, but we’ll focus on playing our game and push for a win. Hopefully, we can keep the points at Craven Cottage.”
