Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, the former Leicester City midfielder, has sent a supportive message to Abdul Fatawu after the winger was ruled out for the rest of the season due to an ACL injury. Fatawu’s injury means he will miss Leicester’s upcoming match against Chelsea at the King Power Stadium, a game that marks Enzo Maresca’s first return to his former club since leaving for Stamford Bridge in the summer.

Though Dewsbury-Hall has not featured in the Premier League since September and has been left out of several matchday squads, he is expected to attend the match and reconnect with old teammates. However, Fatawu will not be part of the reunion due to his injury. After hearing the news, Fatawu shared a hopeful message on Instagram, and Dewsbury-Hall responded with a heartfelt comment: “Speedy recovery mate, all the best.”

As for Maresca, he expressed his enthusiasm about returning to Leicester, recalling the positive connections he made during his time at the club. He spoke warmly about the club’s owners, highlighting their caring approach to both players and staff. “It was a fantastic season because I met great people, and the bond between the players and staff was incredible,” Maresca shared. He also mentioned that he still keeps in touch with many of his former players and will always be grateful for his time at Leicester.
