Leeds United are reportedly eyeing a January transfer for Bournemouth midfielder Philip Billing, as manager Daniel Farke looks to strengthen his squad in the midfield area.

According to Gune Bakis, Leeds will assess the situation over the coming months before deciding whether to proceed with a move for the 28-year-old. However, the Championship side may face competition from Turkish clubs, who could secure Billing’s signature before Leeds, given their transfer window remains open until 13 September.

Billing, known for his versatility, can operate in both defensive and box-to-box midfield roles. With his contract at Bournemouth running until 2027, the club is in a strong position for any potential negotiations.

Having played 283 matches across all competitions, Billing brings significant experience. Of these appearances, 143 have been in the Premier League, where he netted 12 goals. Additionally, he has a solid record in the Championship, with 112 games and 21 goals to his name.

As Leeds aim for promotion back to the Premier League, Billing could be a valuable asset, bringing the quality and experience needed to support the club’s ambitions and ease their return to top-flight football.

This season, however, Billing has found himself out of favor at Bournemouth, featuring for just six minutes of play and missing the squad entirely for the last two matches. This lack of involvement might encourage the Danish international to seek a new challenge elsewhere.
