Swansea City manager Luke Williams believes Leeds United are destined for Premier League promotion by the end of the season, though he is determined to upset their plans when the two sides meet this weekend. While he admires the work Daniel Farke has done at Elland Road, Williams recognizes the formidable challenge his team faces in Sunday’s Championship clash at the Liberty Stadium.

Despite facing difficulties in attack this season, Swansea has shown improvement, particularly after recent wins against Luton and Watford. Although they’ve been narrowly defeated by promotion contenders like Burnley, Sheffield United, Millwall, and West Bromwich Albion, Williams is confident that his side can compete with the best in the division.

“Praising Leeds for their remarkable statistics and performances, Williams said, “They are a fabulous team at this level. Looking at their stats and data alone, they’re exceptional, and when you watch them play, it’s clear they’re incredible.”

However, Williams believes his team is better equipped this season to challenge top sides than they were last year. He’s optimistic that Swansea can take confidence from this, be brave, and make a strong showing at home, where they’ve been more consistent.

He acknowledged that to overcome Leeds, his side will need to be flawless defensively and clinical in attack. While Williams expects Leeds to finish in the top two, he also noted that other strong teams are in the mix for promotion.

Leeds will have Max Wober and Brenden Aaronson available following their international duties, but they will still be without Junior Firpo, Ilia Gruev, Ethan Ampadu, and Isaac Schmidt. Largie Ramazani is also a doubt for the match.
