Manni Norkett, a forward on loan to Cheltenham Town from Nottingham Forest, will be out of action until January due to an ankle injury. The 20-year-old has made an impact in League Two, starting twice and coming off the bench three times, including scoring the equaliser in the 2-1 victory over Accrington Stanley on October 1. Norkett also featured in all three EFL Trophy group matches, helping Cheltenham maintain a perfect record, and made a substitute appearance in the FA Cup.
Originally from Nottingham, Norkett spent five years at Manchester United’s academy before leaving in 2023. He had a brief loan spell at non-league Gainsborough Trinity before rejoining Forest, where he had previously been part of their youth system. Norkett’s loan at Cheltenham was planned to run until January, but with the club already having six loanees and only five allowed in the matchday squad, it’s unlikely he will return to action for the Robins before his loan ends.
