The Ravens are entering Sunday’s game against the Giants as the largest favorites in the NFL this season, with a spread of 16.5 points. The line has shifted further in Baltimore’s direction after it was confirmed that Tommy DeVito will start at quarterback for the Giants in place of the injured Drew Lock.
This 16.5-point spread is the largest of the year, surpassing the previous record of 14 points, which occurred in Week 11 when the Lions were favored over the Jaguars. Detroit easily covered that spread, demolishing Jacksonville 52-6.
The Giants, ironically, were also on the receiving end of a massive point spread last season. In Week 10, they were 17.5-point underdogs to the Cowboys, who comfortably covered with a 49-17 victory.
