Sean Dyche remained unfazed by the boos from Everton supporters following the team’s goalless draw with 10-man Brentford at Goodison Park. Despite having the advantage of an extra player for the entire second half, after Christian Norgaard’s red card in the 41st minute, Everton struggled to break down Brentford’s defense. Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Dwight McNeil had earlier missed key opportunities, and Dyche admitted that the team failed to generate enough chances after the break.

Reflecting on the fans’ frustration, Dyche said, “The boos were aimed at everyone. The fans have every right to expect a win, and I share that expectation. I have no issue with their reaction. It’s on us to improve, and that’s what we need to focus on.”

With Everton sitting 15th in the Premier League and having won only two of their last 12 matches, the team’s lack of scoring—failing to find the net in their last three games—has raised concerns. Dyche acknowledged these worries, adding, “Fans have been concerned since I arrived, and I get that. We’ve shown glimpses of improvement, but we haven’t been consistent. I want us to play winning football, and right now, we’re not doing enough of that. We need to figure out how to be more effective in attack while also improving defensively.”
