Several Premier League players are at risk of suspension due to yellow card accumulation, with three Wolves players among those facing a potential one-match ban. According to Premier League rules, players who receive five yellow cards by match week 19 will serve a one-match suspension, while 10 yellow cards before match week 32 lead to a two-match ban. These suspensions are specific to the league and do not carry over to the FA Cup or League Cup.

Nelson Semedo is the first Wolves player to hit the five-yellow-card threshold, having been booked in the 4-2 defeat to Bournemouth. As a result, he will miss Wolves’ upcoming trip to Goodison Park to face Everton.

Three other Wolves players, Rayan Ait-Nouri, Joao Gomes, and Toti Gomes, are currently on four yellow cards and need to avoid further bookings. With important fixtures ahead against Everton, West Ham, Ipswich Town, Leicester City, Manchester United, and Spurs, a suspension for any of them would be a significant blow to Wolves.

Wolves are not alone in having multiple players at risk; both Bournemouth and West Ham also have three players each in danger of suspension. Bournemouth’s Lucas Paqueta and Tomas Soucek from West Ham could miss their respective matches if they are booked in the next round of fixtures.

Elsewhere, Southampton’s Adam Lallana is also in danger of suspension, and a yellow card for him would see him miss the trip to Aston Villa. Southampton is currently grappling with three other suspensions—Tyler Dibling, Flynn Downes, and Taylor Harwood-Bellis.

Here is a full list of players on four yellow cards:

Arsenal: Gabriel Jesus

Bournemouth: Lewis Cook, Justin Kluivert, Marcos Senesi

Chelsea: Nicolas Jackson

Crystal Palace: Jefferson Lerma

Everton: Michael Keane

Fulham: Calvin Bassey

Ipswich Town: Sam Morsy

Leicester City: Jordan Ayew, Wilfred Ndidi

Liverpool: Ibrahima Konate, Alex Mac Allister

Newcastle United: Joelinton, Fabian Schar

Nottingham Forest: Ryan Yates

Southampton: Adam Lallana

Spurs: Micky van de Ven

West Ham: Lucas Paqueta, Tomas Soucek, Emerson

Wolves: Rayan Ait-Nouri, Joao Gomes, Toti Gomes

With these players walking a disciplinary tightrope, the coming matches could be crucial in determining which teams face setbacks due to suspensions.
